On our morning constitutional we walked through the town square, which you can see is empty of stalls selling food or goods, empty of people and bands and a stage. Until yesterday this was the spot to be. Seeing it empty made me a little sad that the NY festivities were over. You'd never know it by my smile, though. You'd also never know that I had gotten some dejecting news earlier that we'd not likely be teaching in Korea... Smile though your heart is crying...
