In Luang Prabang we met a lovely woman named Karla (was she in an earlier post?). We ran into her in Vientiane and made plans to hang out. We met up with her and a woman named Sanh (from CT but her folks are Laotian) and went bowling. That's right - bowling! It was loads of fun and for the first time in my entire life I broke 100 points on both games we played.
After bowling we went for dinner and then ice cream. Swenson's is one of the only chains we've seen here in Laos, which is just fine with us.
